My journey in the industry began as a Typesetter at Straive (Formerly known as SPi Global), where I developed my passion for precision and attention to detail. I gained a thorough understanding of layout design and the importance of delivering impeccable results.
After 6 years, I shifted from publishing to the localization industry where I was hired as a Quality Assurance Specialist in Ingenuiti. My tenure as a Quality Assurance Specialist equipped me with a strong foundation in ensuring the highest quality standards in typesetting. I played a key role in enhancing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
After 4 years as a QA Specialist, I was promoted as a Project Coordinator in the same company (1 year experience). I had the privilege of coordinating projects across multiple languages and industries. This experience gave me a deep understanding of project management and the importance of seamless cross-cultural communication.
With a dynamic career spanning over a decade in the publishing and localization industry, I have honed my expertise in various roles and now proudly serve as a Quality Manager at Ethnolink. I am with the team of professionals in ensuring linguistic and formatting accuracy based on client standards. My role involves driving quality improvement initiatives, overseeing language projects, and implementing best practices in localization and translation.
