Through my years
of serving as a ghostwriter, I learned that loyalty and honesty are key factors
that help to keep a good relationship with every client. So to speak, I feel
obliged to divulge the fact that now and then, I experience partial hearing and
speech impairment due to my seizure disorders. Nevertheless, I am more than
capable of handling non-voice tasks such as writing.
My years of writing
experience include proofreading, SEO
article writing, webpage article population, content enhancement and curation,
email
podcast management tasks for my most recent clients. I also had some brief
experience in completing PowerPoint presentations for an online course that one
of my clients offered on her website. I also completed eBooks and brochures for one client as she went from offline
business to virtual web operations during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Among the training that
I recently received from one of my clients is the They Ask You Answer content creation and management principle by Marcus Sheridan. This training taught
me that even though the trends in content writing are constantly changing, the
principle of providing value for the
readers remains to be the strongest foundation of effective online writing
for marketing and information sharing.
During the years of my
experience, I had the chance to work with management programs such as Asana, Click Up, Microsoft Teams, Google
Suite, Trello, and Slack. I was also able to use SEO Surfer and ChatGPT in one of my recent freelance work tasks.
My experiences and
training taught me that when a problem arises, I need to find a solution by
examining the situation and evaluating my options. Hence, in times when I was
challenged to handle tasks that were outside of my expertise, I learned that
asking my clients about how they wanted me to go about these tasks helped a lot
in satisfying their demands and expectations.
