Profile Description

I am a licensed civil engineer since year 2015. I have experiences on bridge building, road construction, high rise building construction, warehouse and mall construction, houses, health centers and hospital construction. I have been an active civil engineer on construction sites since 2015. During my past experiences I have been assigned as concrete engineer, rebar engineer, quality assurance and quality control engineer, billing engineer and project in charge. I have been a Resident Engineer II for the Department of Health of the Philippines under the Infrastructure and Equipment Unit of office of the Director. I performed functions such as preparation of structural plans and quantity surveying, monitoring and rendering technical assistance for the projects, preparation of billing documents, preparation of program of works and specifications of contract, preparation of schematic and detailed plans for facilities enhancement program, evaluation of plans based on Department of Health standards and guidelines at the shortest possible time to facilitate the start of procurement and construction , supervision and monitoring of projects to ensure completion within the target time frame, assisted Local Government Unit in project acceptance, Monitoring and inspection of DOH Buildings and perform other related functions as may be assigned. Currently, I am a Resident Engineer of Department of Public Works & Highways working on different projects in the city of Cagayan de Oro. I ensure that construction works are in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and DPWH standards. I Supervise contractors and construction staff on site. I monitor progress of works to ensure project is proceeding according to schedule. I Coordinate with contractors, DPWH project management units, and other stakeholders to resolve delays. I document contract changes, extra works, etc.. I also prepare regular weekly, monthly progress reports, including condition, status of works, issues encountered, actions taken, and recommendations.
