Profile Description

I am a medical biller with years of experience handling clients with different specialties such as mental health, dermatology, home health care, physical therapy and pain m ---------- gement. Generally, I ensure that patients' information are accurate and updated, submitted billing information and medical claims are correct and precise, and medical service providers receive accurate compensation for services rendered. Specifically, I have been responsible for claims submission, posting of charge entries, follow up coordination with insurance companies on unpaid or rejected claims, resolution of issues and re-submission of claims, preparation of appeal letters to insurance carrier (when not in agreement with denial claim), and collection of the necessary information to accompany the said appeal.
I am knowledgeable in different electronic health records, including Office Ally, Prompt, Kareo/Tebra, and familiar in handling different payer portals such as Availity, United Healthcare, Navinet, Medicare and Medicaid.
In addition, I have worked with different service providers such as Medicare, Medicaid, Bluecross Blueshield, Cigna, UHC Molina, among others.
