I am a 2016 graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology (currently Mindoro State University) and earned units in Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in 2020. Despite not having background in accounting and public administration or any related courses, I gained experiences and knowledge from my previous jobs as an Oracle Encoder assigned in Cost and Inventory Accounting, where I managed the processing of sales orders, conducted reconciliations, monthly inventory and ensured the accuracy of data. My tenure as a Documentation Clerk assigned also in accounting department sharpened my financial knowledge as I handled the accounts payable and receivable while preparing documentation for insurance submissions.
Transitioning into a role of law firm secretary since April 2019, I have further improved my organizational skills and attention to detail while assisting in the preparation of legal documents and providing client service. While my academic background may not be in public administration or accounting, my professional journey has equipped me with the necessary skills to excel in a bookkeeping and executive role. And with that, I also took courses in UDEMY to enhanced my knowledge in accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
