Senior Software Engineer/Quality Assurance Functional Tester

Review and analyze functional requirements. Participates on business/functional walkthroughs, and defect triage. Leads test design and execution efforts as well as the maintenance of test cases. Works with the Application Developer to resolve issues/defects. Conducts peer review of the deliverables and work products. Coordination and data support with BSA, App Devs and UAT. Performs Webservice testing using SoapUI application. Performs backend validation using PL/SQL an oracle database. Performs test and defect management using HP ALM, JIRA and QTest. Build, execute and maintains automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca. Performs system testing in SAP S/4 Hana GUI and Fiori for billing and collections.

For 6 years in software testing, regression testing is a vital part of releases to ensure that existing functionality is working as expected upon a revamp or enhancement. I’ve also assigned running automated regression scripts in Tosca and investigate when the scripts failed. Working with the developer when issues exists and workout with them for defect resolution.
