Profile Description

I'm looking to start a career as a virtual assistant. I have over 7 years of experience with the BPO industry. I have worked as a technical support and billing specialists for a telecommunication account for 3 years and 4 years as a chart retrieval specialists for a healthcare account. Personally, I value time so I don't waste any when I'm working. I can quickly adjust to new environments, new software or tools and challenges of my work. I have the ability the multitask faster than the average person. I will make sure to always align myself to your business plan.
I enrolled in a virtual assistant online course last November. I have knowledge with email, travel, calendar management, Canva and other usual tools in a VA role.

We do outbound calls to medical facilities like to request medical records for the patients that were given to us by the health plan or insurance. We normally verify if the providers on our list are practicing in that facility. Before sending out the request we need to verify some office information to make sure we are sending the request to the right office and to avoid any Hipaa violation like sending out the request to a wrong fax number. In my tenure I was upskilled a few times within our department, we also dispatch licensed field reviewers to get the medical records that we need onsite. We contact the copy service/center if the practice is using one to establish the fee for their service, turnaround time and how they will send the records back to us. We guide the contact on how to use our secured online portal if they wish to upload the medical records files electronically on our dropbox. Once we receive the medical records from the facility, I also have an experience on handling it directly as we filter out pages that have a direct interaction with the patient and medical professional or any treatment and procedure that was done to them such as SOAP, progress, encounter notes, lab reports and therapies.
