Legal Assistant/Researcher

I have excellent grasp of the English language. I am capable of communicating my message effectively and clearly, be it in written or verbal mode, as well as receiving that which is being conveyed to me as receiver. I've already had experience working remotely, which requires a rather different setup for coordination and management than in an on-site office communication.

Given applicable instructions, goals and data, I demonstrate efficiency and accuracy in performing tasks assigned to me. I am judicious with my work, and I recognize the value of asking about things to which I am not knowledgeable. I’ve had experience in drafting and editing letters to government agencies and offices, simple contracts, memoranda and other office communications.

As legal editor/writer I've had experience searching through platforms and cross-referencing cases for a better understanding of the cases assigned to me for summary writing, processing of legal transcripts and expert witness testimonies. I have been exposed to hundreds of complaints, motions and opinions on federal as well as state cases on various topics including but not limited to, family, employment, civil, commercial, environmental, immigration law, patents and torts.
