Profile Description

I was an ESL Tutor at RareJob, Inc. teaching ESL to Japanese students online for 11 years. I believe the number of years of teaching ESL that I have acquired at RareJob has honed my teaching skills to the full. I was able to teach Japanese people from all walks of life. Their ages range from elementary students to university students to young and old professionals to senior citizens who just want to speak English as a hobby. I've been accustomed to the Japanese culture and have been introduced to the beautiful country of Japan.
I'm a graduate of the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication majoring in Broadcast Communication.
My first job was at the Information and Public Relations Group of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) as a writer/researcher where I wrote press releases, articles, write ups, and other pertinent documents such as guidelines for certain projects and initiatives of the Bureau, Thank You messages, speeches and other key messages of the Director (and sometimes that of the Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary) to events and publications that the Bureau was a part of and had a significant contribution.
I love writing and it has been my passion ever since. Right now, I am a freelancer doing cover letters and resumes, newsletters and copywriting.
