I am Sophia Item, a Cum Laude graduate of BA English Language and Literature Studies (Literature Track) from Far Eastern University, Manila. For four years now, I have worked as a content writer and copywriter, generating compelling write-ups that successfully market products and services on different print and digital platforms. I also worked as a PR specialist at one of the country’s top companies, with my works getting published in numerous local newspaper outlets (i.e. The Manila Times, Manila Standard, Business Mirror, etc).

Working as a manager and virtual assistant for more than a year has equipped me with excellent skills in effective collaboration, communication, problem-solving, creative thinking, and organization. I have designed and implemented business processes that significantly improved the company’s performance, bringing in more clients that availed the company’s services. Furthermore, being in management exposed me to other areas as I also managed HR relations, employee training, marketing, and other related work.
