As a branch bookkeeper, my task is to make sure all financial transactions are recorded and is in accordance with the existing company policy and standards. My daily tasks usually include checking loans releases and disbursements, checking applications, verifying supporting documents and validity of the transactions. I also do weekly and monthly reports including Balance sheet and Income statement, and maintaining/updating the general ledger and other financial records. I’m also overseeing the jobs of our accounting clerks making sure that they’re also doing their assigned task and I trained newly hired accounting clerks assigned to our branch.
