Highly skilled in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Customer Service, Medical Records Audit, and Quality Assurance. I’ve been recognized as a critical thinker, problem-solver, and able to think outside the box. In my previous
role as a Medical Biller, I have the following responsibilities:

*Gather and review patient demographic information, insurance details, and medical documentation to ensure accuracy for billing purposes.
*Assign appropriate ICD10 and CPT codes to accurately represent the services given by the provider.
*Prepare and submit insurance claims electronically or through paper submission, ensuring all necessaryinformation is included and adhering to specific payer requirements.
*Monitor the status of submitted claims, track reimbursement delays, and follow up with insurance companies to resolve any outstanding issues or denials.
*Conduct denial management on denied claims.
*Initiate and manage collection efforts for unpaid or overdue balances, which may include contacting patients or insurance companies and sending statements.
*Record and reconcile payments received from insurance and patients.
*Continuously update knowledge of medical billing regulations, coding guidelines, and industry trends to adapt to changes and optimize billing practices.
