I've been employed in 6 companies including my present job and basically my positions were in Finance namely as an Accountant, Auditor and currently I'm a Budget Analyst in one of the prestigious airport in the Philippines.
Below are my actual roles and responsibilities as to its said position:
Accountant
- Conducts bank reconciliation per month
- Prepares and issues check for payment to suppliers, utilities and others
- Performs proper inventory costing and maintain inventory files
- Monitor loan payments, government agency transactions such as taxation, related permits & licenses
- Checking & monitoring the company's performance in meeting the sales target and controlling of operating expenses
- Prepares Daily Sales and other monthly reports
Auditor
- Audit business dealings to guarantee compliance with all government regulations
- Report and aid in the implementation of all financial and operational accounting systems and procedures in accordance with the standard operation procedures set by the company
- Prepare audit reports, summary of income audit findings and respective
recommendatory actions and memos
- Create, review, develop and recommend sound controls on assigned audit focus
Budget Analyst
- Gathers and analyze data of actual expenditures from prior and current years to be used in the development of budgetary estimates for the ensuring fiscal year
- Prepares reports for establishing and maintain budget account
- Prepares facts and recommendations to supervisor for use in planning and controlling budget account
