I have 4 years of core experience overseeing accounts receivable using the AR module of the Oracle r12 ERP system. This experience has provided me with a strong understanding of the end-to-end AR processes, spanning from order to cash. I managed cash application and AR closing processes and generated corresponding reports. Additionally, I promoted teamwork and collaboration by assisting my colleagues with the AR processes they needed to know. I also contributed to maintaining strong relationships with business clients and customers by offering timely responses to their inquiries. I ensured that the company gets paid for the goods and services it provides and that the process is organized and efficient.

My first career was in a public accounting firm doing bookkeeping, tax compliance, and FS audits for its multiple clients. I recorded transactions and created financial statements for a variety of industries. This hands-on experience gained me insight into the complete accounting cycle. Doing financial accounting for multiple clients has broadened my skill set and knowledge base. Exposure to diverse client situations sharpened my problem-solving skills and nurtured my adaptability skills. I learned effective time management as I juggled multiple clients' needs. Conducting FS audits has provided me the ability to proficiently trace back transactions thus refining my analytical skills. All these skill sets, I have carried with me since then.

As an accountant, I have been using Microsoft Excel since my intern days, and it remains an invaluable tool for me up to this time. I utilize Excel for recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts to ensure the accuracy of data. Its capabilities have been particularly helpful during tasks like data migration, where I've needed to efficiently reconcile substantial volumes of data. Over the years, I have become adept at leveraging advanced Excel features such as VLOOKUPs and pivoting. These skills have proven instrumental in enhancing the accuracy and speed of my work, especially when dealing with complex datasets. Excel's versatility has consistently supported me in managing financial information and ensuring a smooth transition during tasks like data migration and reconciliation.
