I’ve been in the BPO industry for almost 6 years. I worked as a Customer Service Representative/Technical Support, also had an opportunity to work as a Quality Analyst for more than a year. Most of the companies that I worked with supports international accounts that based in US. I handled some of the largest Telecommunication Companies in the US, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon. Experienced in handling both inbound and outbound calls. Our main goal is to provide real time assistance, answer customer inquiries, upselling phone devices that suits to their needs and resolve technical issues. As a front liner it is important to provide an excellent service and make sure customers are happy.
Working as a customer service representative developed my skills in providing great customer experience. I learned to listen attentively, show empathy statement, respond to customer cues appropriately, ask effective probing questions and I learned to be patient in dealing elderly customers. The ability to communicate clearly when working with customers is a key skill because miscommunication can result in disappointment and frustration. The best customer service professionals know how to keep their communications with customers simple and leave nothing to doubt.
My experienced working as a Quality Analyst was quite challenging. I gained new skills that will help me with my future jobs. As a QA, we are responsible for ensuring that all production processes are controlled and monitored for quality and compliance. We listen and audit calls to provide actionable insights to help drive and improve agent performance. We monitor call interaction and use evaluation form to capture insights from these interactions. We make sure to pay attention to every call detail and observe the behavior observe during the interaction then come up with an action plan to help turn the opportunity into strength.
