Hi, I'm Van!

I'm an accountant with hands-on experience owning end-to-end accounts receivable for a property company structured across 40+ separate entities — each with its own invoicing process and payment terms. Managing billing for many distinct accounts, each with their own protocols, is essentially what I do every day.

Here's what I can do for you:

Accounts Receivable & Billing — I handle the full cycle: invoicing, payment follow-up, cash application, and AR reconciliation. I keep receivables accurate, current, and clean.

Payment Exceptions & Client Communication — When a payment is rejected or returned, I'm the one who contacts the client by phone and email, walks them through it, applies NSF charges, and follows up until it's resolved. I also onboard new accounts, including explaining one-time setup fees.

Bookkeeping & Reporting — I prepare financial reports, support month-end close, and work within established protocols while troubleshooting issues independently.

ERP Experience — I processed 5,000+ transactions during a full QuickBooks Online to NetSuite migration, so I'm comfortable learning new systems quickly.

Tools I use: QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, GoHighLevel CRM, Usio, Microsoft Excel, Asana.

Within months of joining, I was recognized for my work and asked to take on lead responsibilities for day-to-day accounting operations, with a formal role under discussion.

Earlier in my career, at Hua Nan Commercial Bank, I identified a Php 3M discrepancy during variance analysis and caught a double-entry error during daily reconciliations — attention to detail is something I take seriously.
