As a Computer Science undergraduate, my passion for technology and its potential to shape our world has driven my academic pursuits and personal projects. A consistent academic scholar with extensive research experience since grade school, I've delved into diverse fields, culminating in my thesis on detecting misinformation, combining machine learning with cultural understanding. This reflects my commitment to addressing global challenges through innovation.I've also honed my technical skills as a front-end developer and UI/UX designer, crafting intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for both ERP systems and mobile e-commerce projects. My internship experience allowed me to apply these skills in real-world settings, successfully completing projects that enhanced the user experience and functionality of ERP systems.
But my interests extend beyond the technical realm. I thrive on connecting with people, sharing knowledge, and building community. My leadership experience as a local elected official in one of Cebu City's populated barangays, coupled with my success in managing social media platforms for both personal and community-based initiatives, demonstrates my ability to inspire and mobilize others towards shared goals.Traveling is another passion of mine, having explored diverse cultures and landscapes across the U.S. and the breathtaking islands of the Philippines. From the bustling streets of New York City to the tech-driven environment of San Francisco, the tranquil beauty of Baguio, the vibrant energy of Cebu, the pristine beaches of Bantayan and Palawan, the surfing paradise of Siargao, the volcanic wonders of Camiguin, and the rugged coastlines of Zambales, my journeys have broadened my perspective and fueled my curiosity.
