Profile Description

I am a certified public accountant with more than 6 years of work experience in general accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, audit and tax compliance. I worked as a Freelance Accountant/Bookkeeper in a real estate company, outsourcing, e-commerce and property managing business in the sum of 3 years, they are all US clients. My main task is to record and categorize daily financial transactions, entry of bills and invoices, monitor payments and collections, perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, maintain ledgers, create and post journal entries, and prepare accurate and timely financial reports with analysis. Locally, I was assigned handling an Accounting Department as the Financial Controller for almost 2 years in a real estate business whose primary business is a 5-star Hotel, Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu. As the Financial Controller, my main responsibilities include the review the of financial reports, handle tax compliance and tax-related issues, and implement appropriate accounting practices within the organization. Before I was promoted as the Financial Controller, I started as a general accountant in a real estate business for 4 years and was assigned to monitor all accounting activities, directly supervise the accounts receivable and payable departments, perform bank reconciliation, check and review payroll, tax filings, account reconciliation, analyze financial data, and create and post journal for monthly and yearly closing of books. I have been handling bookkeeping, reconciliations, and creating models for decision support for more than 6 years and I will bring this expertise to help and provide owners and clients meet its business goals.
