Profile Description

I graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism. I have a 12-year work experience in the BPO Industry which includes being an Assistant Operations Manager handling more than 200 employees for a telecommunications company. I started as a Customer Service Associate & worked my way up to become a manager. This is the reason I am very comfortable handling different types of calls and admin tasks. I have been exposed to various admin work that would require not just recording data but also analyzing & creating SMART action plans to improve our performance.
When I moved from Manila to the province (Subic Bay) in 2013, I shifted to a different career & started working from home. My first job was with an outsourcing company for virtual assistants. I was given the task to be a Recruiter and assisted in hiring VAs for US real estate agents. I have also worked as an online instructor teaching Business English and ESL in 51Talk. Then I reverted back to working for a real estate company in the US as a Client Coordinator and a Marketing Assistant. My tasks included the ff: lead management, call handling, scheduling appointments, preparing listings, and coordinating with building managers for related listing details. Currently, I am working for a broker in California doing Property Management. My tasks start from listing rental units online until we find a qualified tenant to move in into that unit and handle all concerns until they dUpgrade to see actual info to move out. I basically do all admin tasks while the rest of the team is in the field during their onsite work.
Despite having an odd work schedule as a virtual assistant, I manage to have a really good work-life balance. My hobbies include traveling within the country and to different countries abroad which helps me develop my personality and knowledge as I immerse in the different cultures of each country I go to. This has helped me relate better to other people.  I am familiar with the different online guides & tools for booking my travel reservations. I think that this would also be very useful to my job in case I need to assist you or your company with any business trip you have planned for the year. I am confident that with my intensive background and knowledge, I can be an asset to your company. I am very willing to learn new things in this new career I have chosen.
