I have been working in the corporate world in different industries for a total of almost nine (9) years. Working with so many different cultures has made a big impact on how I connect and build rapport with different types of people.
I started my administrative career as a secretary in a construction company where I performed daily office functions as well as onsite inspections, I also helped in calculating the weekly payroll for more than 50 employees. I got promoted as a project manager and handled more than one project at once. My daily tasks included delivering projects to the pre-determined budget and maintaining time parameters and quality standards.
I also worked as a rehabilitation staff, specifically as a recovery specialist wherein I introduced and discussed a 12-Step program, and offered counselling to help patients recover from substance use disorder and/or alcoholism while maintaining patient confidentiality in our local government's anti-drug abuse council.
Moving forward, I started my BPO career in VXI Global in 2020 and handled high volume of calls for a telecommunication company and assisted customers with sales, technical concerns, and general or account-specific queries.
