Profile Description

I am a Licensed Civil Engineer with over 10 years of diversified working experience within the construction industry.  

I have over 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Cost Estimator in the USA and Singapore. I take off material quantities from drawing plans, read contracts and specifications for additional costs, obtain and compare quotations for specialized works, estimate labor requirements, summarize them in Excel sheets for final cost estimates, and submit them to the contract manager for finalization. I also participate in tender submission by compiling necessary documents, assisting in preparing technical submissions, and bid proposals, and preparing and attending tender presentations. I am also assisting in variation orders, progress claims, certifying subcontractors' work done each month, and onboarding new subcontractors. 

I have also experience in estimating Facade works and Facade Restoration for a US company in New York, like parapet walls, brickworks, EIFS systems, sidings, stucco, insulations, waterproofing, etc. Furthermore, I have worked in a US company in Guam for Civil Works like sewer lines laying, water lines laying,  concreting works, earthworks, electrical and comms conduit laying, fencing, drain works, erosion control etc. I have experience in quantity take-off of the following in both residential and government projects:
