I am a highly motivated Certified Public Accountant with proven experience in auditing and financial reporting. I have a reputation for investigating and resolving issues and constantly striving for process improvement. I am an independent, creative, critical thinker with sound judgment and strategic decision-making competencies and the ability to prioritize and manage effectively.
Also, I have worked in SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. ( A member firm of Ernst & Young Global, Limited) as an audit associate. Working in this company has enabled me to gain not just technical skills but also soft skills which undoubtedly has made a great impact on my career as a CPA.
I have experience preparing working papers and reviewing client records and schedules, including tax returns at the same time ensuring that it complies with the Financial Reporting Standards and Tax Laws.
I have performed analytical reviews on financial statement balances.
I have performed tests of internal controls to see if the client's controls are in place and identify any weaknesses, should there be any weakness or lack of control thereof, devising and ultimately suggesting ways how to address the issue is my ultimate goal. The implementation of effective internal control or compensating control is my usual course of action.
I have also performed process analysis to see which area in the organization needs to improve to be more efficient in performing a particular task.
I have also audited balance sheet accounts and income statement accounts for accuracy and reasonableness of its
recorded amounts.
Furthermore, I have worked as a Financial Analyst in the Department of Social Welfare and Development. Working in this company has widened my knowledge and technical know-how in regulatory standards and requirements.
I am also proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, SAP, Quickbooks, and Google Applications.
