My tasks included recording all financial transactions, maintaining an accurate general ledger, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports. One of my key tasks was to manage accounts payable, which involved processing invoices from suppliers, verifying their accuracy, and ensuring timely payment. I used accounting software to track and record these transactions, and I always double-checked my entries for accuracy. In addition, I was responsible for managing accounts receivable. I generated and sent invoices to customers, tracked payments, and followed up on any oversue accounts. This required excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers. I also performed bank reconciliations every month. This involved comparing the company's financial records with the bank statements to ensure consistency and accuracy. If there were any discrepancies, I would investigate and resolve them promptly.
