Profile Description

A certified public accountant with nine (9) years of collective work experience both in government and private sectors at the Commission on Audit (Philippines’ Supreme Audit Institution) and Grant Thornton (GT) in Philippines, respectively, specialising on financial, compliance and effectiveness audits on national government sector (government audit) including agriculture, environment and state universities/colleges and (private audit) insurance and reinsurance, business process and outsourcing (BPO), capital and investment companies (quasi-banking), manufacturing, retail and distribution, banking, construction and leasing business. I had exposure in audits of companies using SAP and Quickbooks softwares and reconciliation of accounts such as Cash and Accounts Receivables. For almost three (3) years, I have been inspiring my fellow Filipinos achieve financial freedom as a licensed financial advisor at AIA Philippines. Currently looking for a suitable position to increase my professional experience and gain international exposure. 

I currently handle a compliance assurance adviser role for one of New Zealand's leading provider of compliance, licensing, audit and advisory services to the broader financial and professional services industry. I specialize in the delivery of Compliance Assurance Reviews for financial advice providers (FAPs) giving advice service for insurance (personal and general risks), investments (including DIMS), and mortgage or lending and AML/CFT audits (audit of CDD practice of reporting entities).  Helps with the development of compliance content and the delivery of compliance training to clients. Conduct monthly compliance checks and other compliance work for financial advice providers (FAPs) in NZ. Virtual compliance officer for various FAPs.
