The past year, I have been working for 8 months as a Customer Service
Representative alongside my studies at ePerformax Contact Centers Cebu (Account: LendingTree). LendingTree is an online marketplace that connects
borrowers with potential lenders. My job entailed contacting customers who were not matched with lenders and providing alternative solutions outside of the loans that they originally requested. My role as a Customer Service Representative involves communicating with customers and providing solutions for their individual situation. The skills that I exercise and have developed during my time at ePerformax are soft skills such as, empathy, acknowledgement, active listening as well as problem solving.
Recently, I worked for 7 months as a Receptionist/ Executive Virtual Assistant for
Gallery Company, which is based in Indiana, US. I initially applied as a
receptionist but they hired me as an account executive during the first 3
months. My roles included making outbound calls, contacting techs for painting,
flooring, carpet installations etc. and being a mediator between the techs and
customers/businesses who need the work done for their offices or buildings. I
also had to create invoices for our clients and techs, encoding data,
processing payment and other documents.
I was then transferred to a different department as a receptionist. My role there was to schedule and book appointments for our Carpet Cleaning Department. I also acted as a personal assistant for at least 4 months of our CEO handling his
My experience in the BPO industry, being an outbound and inbound sales representative, has allowed me to develop my communication and negotiation skills to serve as a customer's advocate. My experience also extends to customer service assisting customers with concerns and queries which allowed me to problem solve to achieve customer satisfaction beyond limit.
