Profile Description

I am a Registered Nurse in the Philippines and I have a USRN license as well. 
I worked as an Emergency Room Nurse for 5 years. Throughout my ER nurse experience, I was able to hone my skills in:
> triaging patients
> vital signs taking
> performing quick assessment and medical history
> carrying out doctor's order
> IV insertion and drug administration
> NGT insertion and feeding
> Urinary catheter insertion
> assisting physicians during intubation
> administering blood and blood products
> wound dressing
> assisting in minor surgical procedures such as: incision & drainage, excision, circumcision, suturing
> ECG reading, ACLS and BLS trained
I was also able to work for 9 months as a RN Quality Analyst under a home health agency - US based using the Axxess EMR tool.
The scope of my responsibilities were:
> inputting nurses notes in OASIS - SOC, plan of care and discharge plans
> review patient's diagnosis if it corresponds to the body system affected
> collaborating to other medical staff involved for further clarifications or suggestions made
> sending reports to medical staff for chart reviews
> checks schedule manager if it corresponds to the frequency of visit per medical staff involved
