- Performs routine and special laboratory tests utilizing manual and automated laboratory procedures for hematology, immunology, serology, clinical chemistry, and clinical microscopy.
- Performs blood banking procedures such as CROSSMATCHING (manual and gel technology), ABO AND Rh TYPING, Du TESTING, DIRECT AND INDIRECT ANTI-GLOBULIN TESTS. Screen blood for HBs Ag, HCV, HIV, Syphilis and Malaria.
? Process blood into different blood components.
? Perform Direct and Reverse ABO and Rh typing.
? Perform Donor- Patient blood compatibility testing prior to transfusion.
- Has a experience in microbiology section. CULTURE AND SENSITIVITY, GRAM STAIN, Upgrade to see actual info BACILLI SMEAR, WET- MOUNT SLIDES (NSS AND KOH).
? Preparation of media routinely used for propagation, isolation and identification of microorganism.
? Isolation of microorganism.
? Perform manual and automated biochemical procedures for identification and sensitivity testing of microorganism.
- Executes blood extraction using different phlebotomy techniques for OPD, ICU, regular wards, NICU, pedia wards and ER patients.
-Troubleshooting of machines and performs control and calibration of machines.
- Uses and troubleshoots Hospital and Laboratory Information System.
