I transitioned to working from home as a Medical Virtual Assistant in 2022. From February 2022 until June 2023, I have worked as a Billing Virtual Assistant who works with patients and various US medical insurance providers ensuring payment of my client's services. Currently, I'm working as a supervisor for a Remote Cardiac Monitoring company based in Texas assisting both clinics and patients in my scope of responsibilities.
From 2018 until 2021, I have worked as a Process Trainer for a Rapid Diagnostics company based in the US. My main responsibility is to facilitate Product Specifics Training for all lines of businesses under Revenue Cycle Management. I supply basic knowledge on how to handle account receivables, claims payment, denials and demand letters. Under RCM, I support both local and onshore Collections, Cash Posting, Billing, Payment Review (Refunds), Insurance Data Management and Correspondence teams.
I also worked for a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company from 2010 until 2018. I have worked as a Customer Service Representative for a Health Insurance company answering provider inquiries regarding their patient's benefits/eligibility, claim status and disputes. I also worked for a Technical Support account dealing with office equipment - facsimile, copier, printer, scanner and all-in-ones. I assist customers with initial setup, software installation, networking as well as troubleshooting both hardware and software concerns that they have regarding our product.
