I've been part of BPO industry for almost a year and half under the customer service line I've already enhanced and developed those necessary key skills that a customer service representative or an e-commerce customer support must posses actually there's more than a dozen skills list that a CSR/CSA must have and the first five that I will mention is very critical and sometimes takes a lot of time to develop

ACTIVE LISTENING
Difficulty in providing resolution to customer's if don't understand what are they calling about or let's say you and your customer both of you are not on the same page
2nd on my list will be..
STRONG EMPATHY & REASSURANCE STATEMENT
One of the techniques that I've learn which is so effective is you must talk/converse to your customer as if you're talking to your bestfriend of to your special someone something like that
3rd on my bucket will be..
ADAPTABILITY
as a CSR we're receiving a lot of calls different kind customers and different attitudes sometimes you might a received like granny calls which the caller is a senior citizen and also other types customer
4th on my list will be..
DECISION-MAKING & CONFLICT RESOLUTION
ability create & propose a long lasting resolution to minimize a repeat caller & ability to suggest best alternative solution

DEPENDABILITY
this type of skill is a must especially for work at home jobs which requires minimal to less supervision of your employer, supervisor or team support.
