I'm a registered nurse and a CPC with eight years of working experience as a customer service representative and expertise working in prior authorization I have been working as a medical coder for a year now with Optum Global Solutions. I have been tasked to do the following tasks;
• Handling provider and payer concerns via phone and e-mail

• Health Claim Denial Management

• Health claim processing

• Health benefit

• Pre-authorization

• Handling and protecting medical records per
HIPAA guidelines and anything related to revenue cycle management and health
insurance.

• Medical Coding, transcribing and billing.
• AR follow-up, Accessing the payer portal
• Charge entry
           

I can also do a basic task like

• Data entry

• Internet research

• Google Docs and Spreadsheets, Manage Dropbox,
Google Drive and Google Calendar

• MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
