As a bookkeeping assistant using QuickBooks online my daily task are the following: First is review bank and credit card transactions imported overnight and match transactions to existing entries or categorize new ones. Then proceed to invoicing by creating and send invoices to clients for goods or services rendered and record invoice payments received from clients and apply them to outstanding invoices. As well as also record any business expenses incurred throughout the day, such as office supplies, utilities, or travel expenses and then categorize expenses correctly according to the chart of accounts. Then proceed for the reconciliation by reconciling bank and credit card accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for and accurate. And then identify and investigate thoroughly any discrepancies between QuickBooks records and bank statements. If applicable, process payroll for employees. And ensure accurate recording of wages, taxes, and deductions. And then lastly generate daily financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements or cash flow statements to monitor the financial health of the business. And then analyze reports to identify trends or areas needing attention.
