Profile Description

1.) Perform month-end and quarter close procedures and ensure financials are in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures (GAAP)
2.) Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules
3.) Serve as a back-up on month-end duties assigned to other team members
4.) Provide analysis, explain variances, and identify trends
5.) Research technical accounting guidance and issues and analyze transactions
6.) Proactively identify issues and areas for improvement
7.) Help establish and maintain policies and procedures and execute controls associated with areas of responsibility
8.) Support payables, prepayments, and other processes
9.) Assist with the annual audit process including both the readiness and execution, including preparation of supporting audit schedules
10.) Assist with and/or complete ad hoc projects as requested
11.) Research and document issues, special projects, audit requests, etc.
