VA/Estimator/Cost Engineer/Cost Controller

As a Cost Engineer specializing in glass and aluminum systems, ACP, and architectural facade materials, I am responsible for providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for both commercial and residential construction projects. My key responsibilities include: Cost Estimation — Preparing detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals using Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness Material Pricing — Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to obtain current material and labor rates for glass, aluminum profiles, ACP panels, and related architectural finishes Bid Preparation — Compiling and submitting complete tender documents and proposals in response to client and contractor requirements Drawing Interpretation — Analyzing architectural and structural plans to identify scope of work and material specifications Value Engineering — Recommending cost-effective material alternatives without compromising design intent and quality standards Project Coordination — Collaborating with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to ensure estimates align with project budgets and timelines
