JOB RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLED:
- Investigating suspicious transactions, reviewing financial transactions, and identifying patterns or anomalies that could indicate fraudulent activity.
- Monitor internal processes, conduct risk assessments, analyze data to identify potential risk areas and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Maintaining accurate records, responsible for maintaining accurate records of all investigations, including evidence and outcomes.
- Recording financial transactions: Basic accountants record financial transactions such as sales, purchases, and payments made by an organization.
- Reconciling accounts, ensure that the accounts of an organization are accurate and up-to-date by reconciling accounts, verifying balances, and resolving any discrepancies.
- Assisting with audits: Basic accountants help prepare for audits by gathering financial data and ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and documented.
- Experience in customer relations(handling customer concerns and requests via email)
