Medical Billing (2018 - Present)
-Billing systems used : Athenanet, Contomed, Intergy & Nextech
-Knowledgeable in AR process - entering charges, eligibility verification, submitting claims to insurance, fixing claim rejections, claim status verification, denial management which includes sending appeal to insurance or making claim corrections if eligibility related (but if it's coding related, will send to coder first for further review and corrections), also knowledgeable in payment posting
-Knowledgeable in working Emergency Room, Mental Health, Sleep Study, Internal Medicine and Urgent Care claims
-Knowledgeable in using different web portals such as Medicaid and Medicare webs in each State, UHC, Cigna, Navinet, Availity, Emdeon / Change HealthCare, etc.
-Handle claims in different States such as GA, NC, AL, IL, PA, DE, TN, MD, WA, NH, NE, MA, FL, CA, VA, SC

Data Entry / Quality Auditing (Upgrade to see actual info)
-Responsible in checking the accuracy of the document called the Title Commitment that was typed by one of our processors and make corrections on it if necessary before submitting it to the client
-Responsible in making error reports and implementing some new practices to minimize and totally avoid those errors in the future
-Responsible in helping the typing team in processing Title Commitments when they have loads of files to type. We received a document from the client which we called the mark-up / write-up then our team will be the one in charge in typing and converting it to a Title Commitment using the system called FAST.

Inventory Management (Upgrade to see actual info)
-Responsible in tracking the incoming and outgoing products/equipment
-Responsible in making sure that all the numbers reflected in the system and the actual physical count are tally
-Systems used : TAMS (Tangible Asset Management System)
