I am a registered nurse and an experienced professional having an extensive work experience from the past 8 years in US Healthcare Insurance as a subject matter expert apprentice for Aetna, Medical and Dental Billing, Medical and Dental Claims Processing, AR Follow up, Denial Management, Analysis & Reporting, Revenue Cycle Management, Charge Entry, Patient Billing and Collections.
I've handle both professional and facility claims. I've done medical billing for Oral&Maxillofacial, Family Practice and Pain Management. I'm HIPAA certified and I can write reconsideration and appeals. I'm also familiar with several EHR / EMR systems such as EPIC, Kareo, EClinicalworks, Collaborate MD, Advanced MD, DNS and CS WinOMS and I am easily adaptable to familiarize myself to new softwares.
Along with handling Medical billing tasks, other tasks includes: generating reports, handling queries from patients and insurances through inbound and outbound calls/emails, speaking with attorneys with regards to personal injury cases and high dollar cases.
I also worked for a US e-commerce platform for 5 years prior to starting my career in the US healthcare and RCM. I
have experience with phone, email and chat support customer service.
