I was a Data Analyst from my previous job. And as a Data Analyst, a strong analytical skills, understanding of complex issues, ability to quickly absorb information is needed to perform well. An excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, and strong executive presence is also required as there might be some unexpected situation that you may need to reach out to your clients for a few clarification/verification as part of having a strong analytical skills. And also having a strong interpersonal skills shown by an ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization and build strong relationships.
