I took up Bachelor in Information and Technology. The computer skills that I acquired from school helped me be a Technical Support Specialist of Toshiba. Then I got transferred to Symantec, which is an antivirus software. So I am pretty trained on both hardware and software computer problems. After that, I got transferred to Hotels.com, wherein I was trained on upselling and inbound telemarketing. With Hotels.com, we handled reservations for almost all of the hotels in both USA and Canada, that also helped me excel in my English language skills. I learned how to upsell different hotel rooms to undecided customers. I also learned how to do hard selling with customers who were just shopping around. After a year, I transferred to Cisco. With Cisco, we handled business to business transactions. I was trained how to get through gatekeepers and how to generate numerous leads. I used to talk to CEO, CIO and CTO of US based companies to further assist them and give them more information tailor fitted for their company's networking needs. After working with Cisco, I had to stay at home and look after my kids. But while doing that, I worked as a Virtual Assistant for Concepts of Spring LLC. My job includes data entry, social media endorsement and processing postings on Amazon. My last work experience was being a (Customer Service) Fitness Advisor for Beachbody. Beachbody is an American multinational corporation that uses direct response infomercials and multi-level marketing to sell fitness, weight loss and muscle-building home exercise DVDs. WIth Beachbody, I was trained to educate customers about fitness and health. I was also assigned with the retention team wherein we had to talk customers down on not cancelling their monthly subscription of our meal replacement shakes and other supplements.
