PH AUDITING
I started my career in one of the big 4 firms, Isla Lipana & Co. (PwC Philippines). I was mainly engaged to auditing financial statement accounts through substantiation with corroborating evidences to ensure the proper recording of financial position and performance, performing testing of operating effectiveness of the design of the controls in placed within client's business processes, assisting the senior members of the team in providing quality audit and review other client's financial statements and helping the team in providing audit and business advice to audit clients. I exercised efficiency in doing the audit by providing the team with a more focused strategic options which can be a meaningful way to finish the job right. 

After a year and a half, I was promoted as a Senior Audit Associate. I am performing local statutory audits, group reporting & specified procedures for SOX and US GAAP clients, assisting the clients in preparing financial statements (PFRS, SME, SE) for local statutory purposes, providing professional advice and consultation to clients with regards to proper application of accounting standards, providing audit and business advice to a variety of clients, providing an on-site co-ordination role for audit clients including planning, day to day management of the audit team, liaising with clients and completing audit assignments, building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established audit clients, working and liaising with other members of the audit team and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide a high quality client service and reporting directly to a partner, director, senior manager or manager. I am responsible for the coaching and development of more junior members of the team and arranging important meetings between the client and the engagement team. 


AU ACCOUNTING
As an accountant of the AU accounting firm servicing wide-range of industries in Adelaide, Australia, I was assigned to assisting clients for compliance to the Australian Tax Office, responsible for the preparation of client's activity statements (BAS), tax returns and financial statements. (Individuals, Companies, Trusts and Partnerships), providing consultations to the clients regarding tax positions, bookkeeping, recording of transactions and posting of various accounts and reconciliation of reports to third party records.

I worked for a BPO industry servicing US clients (primarily Guidant Financial) as a 401K Retirement Plan Administrator. I was mainly tasked to attending to the consultation on initial design of 401K Plan, preparing Summary Plan Description for participants and beneficiaries, approving loans and distributions and other related transactions, monitoring compliance with plan rules and federal regulations, performing discrimination testing and audit support, preparing compliance filing (Form 5500, Safe Harbor notices, Form 1099-R), generating annual participant census and communicating with 401K clients on a day-to-day basis.


EU AUDITING
I have also worked overseas as a Senior Associate Auditor based in Malta, Europe. I was mainly engaged to planning and managing the overall aspects of audit engagements including risk assessment, developing and designing audit strategies, timing and extent of audit procedures, time budgeting, and arranging resources for the engagements, assisting the clients in drafting audit reports and reviewing of the financial statements and other reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and other regulatory frameworks (i.e., GAPSME, IFRS, and VAT Legislation), executing audit procedures for key and critical accounts by performing substantive analytics and test of details to obtain reasonable assurance over the audit assertions, performing review of accounts and reconciliations prepared by accounting department for pre-audit assessment and assisting tax department for tax compliance requirements, performing accounting works such as bookkeeping, recording of transactions and posting of various accounts while attending to client's inquiries about the application of accounting standards, treatment of unusual transactions, and other accounting-related queries. 


US ACCOUNTING
I am also working as a Construction Accountant and is tasked to prepare documents/files for loan draws and funding, accounting of intercompany AR/AP, Vendor payments, checks issuance, and Cash/Bank Reconciliations.
