She became a scholar-teacher under Scholarships for Teacher Education Programs to Upgrade Teacher Quality in the Philippines (STEP UP), a campaign implemented by the Philippine Business for Education (PBEd) in partnership with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), under the Basic Education Sector Transformation (BEST) program.

She has been a creative writer since she was in college. Years after, her writing which was once considered a hobby turned into a side gig when she qualified as an Exclusive Writer of Stary Writing Pte Ltd with completed and ongoing paid stories. She has been writing while working full-time as a teacher. 

As a Marketing Specialist in a real estate company, she was able to make an Icebreaker Sale before her first month in the role. She has written copy for organic and paid ads and also did simple designs for creatives using Canva. She was also responsible for creating marketing campaigns on different social media platforms and communicated directly with clients from project presentations to closing sales.

Her experience working in a fast-paced supermarket, progressive hotel and restaurant chains, challenging school teaching, and competitive real estate have molded her into a globally competent professional.
