Most VAs wait to be told what to do. I notice what needs to be done before anyone asks.
I've been working remotely since 2011 and supporting e-commerce stores since 2019. In that time I've managed product catalogs, coordinated suppliers, handled customer service, and run daily store operations. But the thing clients have valued most wasn't any specific skill. It was this: I treat their business like it's my own.
When I joined one of my longest e-commerce roles, I was hired as a product lister. Within my first week I noticed serious inconsistencies across the store, e.g. broken links, mismatched product details, messy images, no consistent structure. Nobody asked me to look. I documented everything anyway, audited five platforms including Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Walmart, and Flxpoint, presented my findings to the client, and drafted the SOP that the entire team then worked from. I went from new hire to team lead not because I was promoted, but because I just couldn't walk past a problem without fixing it.
That's how I work everywhere. My travel industry client of nearly 7 years would sometimes message me about an issue he'd noticed the week before. My usual answer was: "I already handled that."
*** What I bring to your store:
- -
Product listing and catalog management across Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, and Walmart
- -
Supplier coordination and
- -
SOP creation and team workflow documentation
- -
Customer service and order management
- -
Store auditing - finding what's broken before it becomes a bigger problem
Tools: Shopify, HubSpot, Trello, Monday, Flxpoint, CJ Dropshipping, Inventory Source, Canva, Google Sheets
*** How I work:
I follow SOPs precisely when they exist. When they don't, I build them. I communicate proactively, escalate only when necessary, and I don't need to be micromanaged. I've reported directly to store owners with full operational trust, and I've never taken that trust lightly.
I'm available 40 hours a week, based in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, and I'm looking for a long-term client who needs someone genuinely reliable in their corner.
If you've ever said "I need someone who just gets it", that's what I'm here for.
