Profile Description

I attended Ateneo De Manila University for 5 years under the Bachelor of Fine Arts Information Design course. The lessons taught to me throughout my stay involve mostly finding solutions to design problems in the most efficient and effective manner. I have an understanding of basic and advanced design principles, color theory, hierarchy of elements and layouts of print and web works.
My Senior Thesis trained me as well for extensive writing projects. I believe that a strong foundation in writing is important when it comes to being able to attract attention to a piece. With this in mind, I developed my skills in intensive research, organization of ideas, and my capability to adapt to different projects. Other than my thesis, I made writing an extracurricular activity since high school. Writing fictional stories taught me how to be creative with my word choice and allow myself to express ideas clearly, while maintaining a flair that will keep the target audience interested.
As an illustrator, I am trained in both traditional and digital illustrations. I am well versed in several applications, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Paint Tool Sai, and Krita. The foundational skills I have developed over my stay in school have grounded my art style, in such a way that it is rooted in the basics but still show eccentricity and originality. I enjoy taking calculated creative liberties in hopes to show a potential client not only what they requested but possibly something they would not have thought of but love nonetheless.
My Senior's Thesis also trained me in video editing, camera operation, directing and music Upgrade to see actual info this particular project, i have directed and edited a documentary called "Canvas", which spans six episodes, not including one trailer and two shortened episodes. My video editing experience has allowed me to learn the importance of instantly hooking viewers with catchy introductions and Upgrade to see actual info also taught me the equally important lesson of maintaining attention with the use of B-roll shots, well timed humor and basic text and image animation.
As for myself, I absolutely adore the arts. Whether it is music, video, illustration, design or writing, I enjoy it all. I boldly claim that i have a passion for the arts and boast a true dedication to it. As much as I enjoy the creative liberty of the arts, I also make sure to give it its due respect as a means of expression from one party to another. I am capable of maintaining a strong level of focus, even throughout several projects at a time. I also pride myself at being able to communicate fluently in both English and Filipino. But more than that, I also recognize that efficient communication with myself and higher ups is paramount in order to maintain a healthy relationship in the work environment. I am a straightforward and no nonsense individual who will give my potential boss, or client one hundred percent of myself, with no exceptions. More than that, I am capable of working either by myself, or with a group.
