Profile Description

What I basically do as a Virtual Administrative Medical Assistant is taking inbound/outbound phone calls, accurate records of phone calls, emails, appointment scheduling, faxing, updating/sorting medical records and prior-authorization. I take follow-up orders/transfer Prior - Auth Medications and Procedures /Instructions/confirming appointments and appointment booking as well. We use Intelligent Medical Software tools as EHR and Vonage as our business cloud communication provider. On the other hand, I take part of processing medical prior authorization as Healthcare Account Receivable Executive Assistant. One of my roles is to initiate required  CPT codes for Upgrade to see actual info relation to this, we call or use portals to start a case or faxing medical records, order and required authorization forms to payer. Also, we do updating follow up calls and pending cases to payer especially when case got approved or denied.
