e-Commerce store manager
About the role...
Assist in the set up and marketing of new online ecommerce sites, including seeking product lines and sourcing and onboarding drop shipping suppliers.


Major areas of ongoing responsibility include:
• Procurement of product
• Creation of marketing and social media campaigns
• Implementation and monitoring of marketing and social media campaigns.
• Onboarding influences
• Optimising product, category, navigation and brand landing pages based on season trade and customer engagement
• Maintain onsite search settings, report on search activity and continually work to optimise the search experience
• Troubleshooting any onsite customer queries and acting with urgency to create solutions
• Auditing website functions that impact customer experience weekly to ensure there are no roadblocks for purchasing
• Closely monitoring conversion and bounce rate in relation to any relevant strategies and responding with adjustment to strategy as required
• Actively seeking strategies to improve conversion though the set up and communication of promotions
• Communicating with the CEO on all facets of the business

• Excellent English writing and communication skills
• Excellent marketing and social media skills
• Excellent knowledge of drop shipping platforms and companies
• Excellent knowledge of product procurement
• Excellent knowledge of marketing a successful ecommerce site
• Understanding and knowledge and the skills to onboard influences
• Customer focus and service mindset
• Commercial awareness and business acumen
• Technical experience with ecommerce platforms
• Solid understanding of ecommerce metrics and analytical data
• Skills with Google Analytics, SFCC, HTML are highly desirable
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
