Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor who is adept at researching, sourcing, and editing video content from the internet that is free of copyrights or under Creative Commons license. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing, be able to provide high-quality voiceovers, and be familiar with AI voiceover technology. This role requires a collaborative effort with our content team to produce engaging, informative, and compliant videos.

Responsibilities:

Research and source video footage and images that are free of copyrights or available under Creative Commons licenses to be used in our videos.
Edit sourced material into a polished and engaging video product in line with our script and content goals.
Provide high-quality voiceover for the videos, utilizing AI tools to ensure natural and engaging narration (experience with tools such as WellSaid Labs is preferred).
Collaborate with the content team to align the video content with our channel's objectives and script requirements.
Create compelling thumbnails to maximize click-through rates from viewers.
Ensure all videos adhere to content and brand consistency guidelines, as well as copyright laws.
Manage multiple editing projects within specified deadlines.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills.
Skilled in digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects).
Strong research skills with a knack for finding high-quality, copyright-free footage and images.
Experience in producing natural-sounding voiceovers using AI technologies.
Creativity, storytelling skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent time-management and communication skills.
Thumbnail creation abilities are a significant plus.
