YouTube Video Editor

The Role:
As our YouTube Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content from scratch, from pre-written scripts, or by repurposing existing video footage. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of timing and narrative flow, and a good understanding of the latest trends in digital video production, particularly on YouTube.

Responsibilities:
Edit video content in alignment with our brand’s voice and objectives, ensuring a consistent style and tone across all videos.
Work closely with our content team to interpret and visualize scripts and create engaging storylines.
Incorporate a variety of media, including existing video footage, animations, text overlays, and music to enhance the visual storytelling.
Optimize video content for YouTube, including adding engaging thumbnails, titles, tags, and descriptions to increase visibility.
Provide input on scripts and storyboards from an editing perspective.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio showcasing your work on YouTube or similar platforms.
Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects).
Strong understanding of the entire video production process, from pre-production to post-production.
Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
Excellent time management skills, ability to adhere to deadlines.
Great communication skills and proficiency in English.
Passionate about creating engaging content for a diverse, global audience.

Experience creating and managing content in our specific niche.
Basic knowledge of SEO and online content strategy.
Experience with motion graphics and special effects.
