Wordpress Developer & SEO Expert

I'm looking for a skilled wordpress developer to create a responsive website to supplement my print on demand design business. The purpose of the website will be to draw people to my ecommerce/print on demand sites that feature my products (currently on Etsy, Cafepress and Zazzle). Once the website is completed, I'll be responsible for posting ongoing blog articles, pictures as needed.

I am a retired computer systems analyst and am familiar with CMS development, although quite out of date. I have developed sites using html, JavaScript, php, joomla, jquery and ASP to name a few technologies, but I don't have the time or interest in learning wordpress development.

My product line is related to the outdoors and one of Canada's famous provincial parks (Algonquin Provincial Park), so I intend that my site will draw people to it who are interested in the park, canoeing and nature. The goal of my site is to point them to sites where they can purchase my designs. My site will feature scenic photos, humourous cartoons and blog articles.

The successful candidate will be extremely knowledgeable in SEO and will assist me in SEO listing and will ensure that the appropriate keywords are utilized in the site, and will advise me on accomplishing an advertising plan in google and or facebook.

I will provide specifications and some guidelines and would expect some suggested site designs. You would be expected to create a custom wordpress template or modify wordpress templates as required to meet the design.

I would expect you to provide an estimate on the number of hours it would require you to complete my task.

I have a hosting service and a domain name, so I would expect that you would turn over the completed site to me for publishing. If required I could set up a development site on my hosting service for you to develop on.

Although your main task would be development of the site, once the site is live and SEO had been accomplished your main task will be completed, but Its possible that there will be some maintenance and future changes that would require your help and would be compensated at your going rate.

However if you are have experience managing on-line stores, there may be a possibility of further engagement managing my Etsy and Printful sites and publishing my designs.
