JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a full-time, project-based WordPress Developer who specializes in WordPress, Elementor, WPML, Pagespeed optimization and On-page SEO.
We have current and upcoming projects that would need two WordPress developers.

Our current project:
Our current project needs two developers who will rebuild a WordPress website by creating a WordPress theme from scratch and use or create plugins as needed.
The two developers will get $1500 each on project completion. 30% will be paid on the 2nd week of the project start.
The project is a bit tight in terms of timeline and will need the website up and working by May 24th.
All designs are already done on Figma and will just need to translate it into a WordPress website.
The website will have around 16-20 pages.

Must work fast and responsive and with great command of English.
Must be comfortable with working UK hours.
This is a fully remote, work-from-home setup.

Prerequisites:
• 4 years+ of experience in WordPress website development.
• Professional experience in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript.
• Professional experience in developing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Professional experience of SEO best practices and their implementation in web development.
• Good understanding of building and optimizing website pages for Pagespeed.
• Good understanding of web development best practices and responsive design.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with another developer in creating a WordPress theme.
• Attend a weekly standup meeting with the project manager.
• Work on creating a bilingual website using WPML.
• Develop a WordPress website, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.
• Create a WordPress theme using HTML, CSS, Javascript, Elementor and/or other frameworks suitable for the project.
• Create or use plugins to supplement the needs of the website.
• Help in the deployment of the WordPress website.
• Conduct thorough testing of the website and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
