WordPress Developer

Job Summary:
We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer to take AI-designed WordPress websites and turn them into amazing, attractive, and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration, on-page SEO, and security updates.
To be a successful WordPress developer, you should have an eye for aesthetics and strong content management skills. Ultimately, as an experienced WordPress developer, you will create attractive, user-friendly websites that meet the design and functionality specifications requested by the client.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Meeting with Local AI Sites team to discuss website design and function.
Managing Wordpress development tasks using Trello boards.
Designing and building WordPress-based websites.
Leveraging WordPress themes and plugins.
Conducting website performance tests & troubleshooting content issues.
Conducting WordPress training with Local AI Sites team.
Monitoring the performance of live websites.

Proficient with Trello, Git, Slack and other web-based collaboration tools.
Proficient with hosting including Cloudflare and WPEngine, and similar platforms.
Experience with WordPress migration tools like All-in-One WP Migration & UpdraftPlus
Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

Technology (and other) Requirements:
Modern computer (Mac or Windows).
Reliable high-speed Internet access.
Environment conducive to focusing on WordPress development.
