Website Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Website Designer to join our team. As a Website Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our clients' needs and objectives. You will collaborate closely with our clients and internal teams to gather requirements, develop design concepts, and implement them into functional websites. The ideal candidate should possess a strong combination of technical expertise, design skills, and a passion for creating engaging online experiences.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.

2. Design and create visually appealing website layouts, user interfaces (UI), and user experiences (UX) using industry-standard design tools.

3. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to illustrate design concepts and facilitate client feedback and approval.

4. Create and optimize graphics, images, icons, and other visual elements to enhance website aesthetics and user experience.

5. Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and compatible with multiple browsers and devices.

6. Implement website designs using HTML, CSS, and other relevant web technologies.

7. Collaborate with web developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and functionality.

8. Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure websites meet design specifications and functional requirements.

9. Stay up to date with the latest design trends, web technologies, and industry best practices.

10. Provide ongoing website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Website Designer or similar role.

2. Strong portfolio showcasing previous website design projects and demonstrating a solid understanding of design principles, UI/UX best practices, and responsive design.

3. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or similar.

4. Proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

5. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.

6. Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for website design and development.

7. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.

9. Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.

10. Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
